Alepo Technologies, Inc. announces a partnership with Spectranet, providing an evolved packet core LTE solution via integration with a Huawei radio network, ensuring a future-proof and endlessly scalable solution.
Austin, TX, April 24, 2013 – Alepo, a leading provider of network and IT solutions for next telecommunications service providers, announced today its first LTE win in Africa by partnering with Spectranet, one of the fastest growing 4G service providers in Nigeria. As a part of its technology upgrade path, Spectranet will start nationwide LTE rollout with Alepo in H1 2013, using Alepo to manage both existing 4G and forthcoming LTE services.
Specranet will deploy a broad suite of Alepo products to support their enhanced offerings, including Alepo’s award-winning OSS/BSS software, Service Enabler 8.1, Alepo’s Online Charging System (OCS), and PCRF, for fine-grained, real-time policy enforcement. Spectranet will also be deploying Alepo’s comprehensive set of APIs to integrate with a range of legacy systems and third-party vendors, including Huawei and Cisco network elements.
Spectranet has chosen Alepo to support delivery of a wide range of services, including data services, VoIP, audio conference, video conference, Wi-Fi services, leased line, and other enterprise services. The solution is built to support existing services while deploying the enhanced network with no service interruption.
