Alepo’s DHCP server acts to automatically provision IP addresses to CPEs. It is also integrated with DPI (deep packet inspection) and can provision IP addresses either dynamically from different pools (which allows for quality of service and policy enforcement) or statically (to allow the support of services which require static IP addresses).
