Alepo’s Session controller offers providers advanced session management for [link]WiFi and [link]WiMAX. In WiFi deployments, the Session Controller takes the role of a Hotspot Controller, while in WiMAX 16e it extends the ASN Gateway capabilities to support hotlining. In pre-16e and other wireless technologies deployments it is utilized in lieu of an ASN Gateway. A session controller allows for casual access and real-time enforcement of credit limits.
