Intelligent Route Server

Alepo Intelligent Route Server offers unique routing capabilities that are based on type of customer plan, route, cost, and current ASR*.

This makes Alepo's solution the most advanced caller-sensitive routing system available today. With this new product companies can:

  • Increase overall ASR resulting in more minutes per customer and increased customer satisfaction
  • Improve Buy-Sell margin by enabling companies to shop for new, cheaper routes, while leaving the billing system to worry about quality by automatically filtering out the bad routes.
  • Offer different rates for the same destination for different quality/cost minded market segments (Businesses care more about quality while Residential customer care more about price)

This product is especially attractive for successful traffic exchanges and originating service providers.

The VoIP service provider business is becoming more and more competitive. Alepo is on the forefront of technology, enabling companies to better compete by offering the following features:

  • Scalable business automation and continuity, enabling you to manage more traffic per employee than your competitors
  • Features (like quality based LCR) that enable you to have better buy-sell margins
  • Customizable ratings plans that increase customer base by providing unique quality-minded plans for business customers.

* ASR - Average seizure ratio - stands for the percentage of calls that actually get terminated. While ASR has many factors affecting it (such as the quality of the country circuit switched network), it is usually similar for the same destination.

When a termination provider has lower then average ASR, that is typically because he oversubscribes his PSTN ports, uses low brand PSTN gateways, or does not monitor his system 24x7.

On the other hand, there some very professional new entrants that specialize only in their own country and offer routes at lower rates and higher ASR.

Some termination providers will state a desired ASR, but in many cases the reality is completely different.

For international long distance, ASR is one of the most important factors affecting an originating service provider or traffic exchange revenue.

Calls that are not terminated are not billed, and consistently low ASR for popular destinations has the highest effect on customer loyalty and churn.
