ALEPO BECOMES INVOLVED AS A WiMAX FORUMŽ MEMBER

 

AUSTIN, Texas, 23 February 2008—Alepo today announced its membership approval within the WiMAX forum as well as its involvement in the Network Working Group (NWG).   The WiMAX forum is an industry-led, non-profit organization committed to promoting and certifying interoperable WiMAX products.  Alepo is stepping in quickly with strategic involvement in the NWG which has objectives including creating standard, higher level networking specifications for fixed, nomadic, portable and mobile WiMAX systems, beyond what is defined in 802.16.  Alepo will continue to work alongside NWG members to ensure 802.16e standards become a reality in today’s market place.
