Thursday, August 03, 2023, Tokelau – Teletok, the communications services operator in Tokelau, has upgraded its network by implementing Alepo’s convergent billing platform to set up its first digital billing system. This modernization has facilitated the automation of manual processes, reducing the need for human intervention. The system integrates smoothly with Blue Arcus’s 3G/4G Core and 5G-ready solutions.

Alepo has transitioned Teletok’s services onto a single billing platform, including its 4G LTE and 3G, as well as its PSTN and ADSL offerings, streamlining operations and driving revenue growth.

The complete convergent billing system allows Teletok to cater to changing demand by providing innovative prepaid offerings with plans to extend postpaid services soon. Alepo’s all-in-one billing platform eliminates dependence on multiple systems, lowers the total cost of ownership, and streamlines and automates processes while driving revenue. Tuesday, August 02, 2022, SULAIMANIAYH – Leading fixed-line operator Kurdtel Communications has transformed its network with an advanced solution from digital enablement expert Alepo. The modernization has implemented automation that ensures the operator can fully and accurately charge for residential and enterprise services with no revenue leaks.

Kurdtel Communications’ legacy system required manual processes that left the operator susceptible. Alepo replaced this legacy infrastructure with its convergent and automated fixed IN system for all its services, streamlining network management and preventing revenue loss.

The deployment enables the operator to charge for its PSTN fixed-line service, manage its interconnect partners, and charge for interconnect calls, as well as enabling new and existing subscribers to make calls seamlessly.

As part of the project, Alepo migrated Kurdtel’s prepaid and postpaid subscribers to the new system without disruptions or downtime.

The new system enables Kurdtel Communications to support a host of advanced prepaid and postpaid plans for its ADSL and FTTH offerings, including residential, government, and commercial services. The operator will also be able to introduce enterprise DID plans.

The deployment included Alepo’s SCP, CRM, OCS, billing, mediation, interconnect partner management system, product catalog, voucher management, IVR, and other key BSS modules.

Monday, January 3, 2022, LIMA – Leading fiber provider Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (YOFC) is entering the broadband market in four Peruvian regions using digital enablement expert Alepo’s BSS/OSS solution. The project will equip the operator with advanced billing, device monitoring, security and enterprise management capabilities.

YOFC will provide broadband services in rural areas of Peru, including Ancash, Arequipa, La Libertad, and San Martin. The project is part of the national telecommunications program PRONATEL’s endeavor to bridge the connectivity gap and enable high-quality services in Peru, particularly for underserved populations.

The deployment will include a transport network and an access network, which will be implemented with optical fiber. The project encompasses four sites with a central point in Lima for reporting, and facilitates interaction between the sites so YOFC can view consolidated information.

Alepo will provide its Business Support Systems and Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS) infrastructure, enabling YOFC to manage the connections of individual subscribers, schools, government entities, companies, and the general public. The solution will let YOFC launch innovative new products and services as the market evolves.
