After the successful deployment of Alepo’s WiFi Monetization and Offload Solution , Horizon Telecom International (HTI) awarded yet another contract to Alepo to enable the launch of VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar. The Alepo Solution gives HTI a powerful and scalable platform to bill and manage multi-play service delivery.

Monday, September 11, 2017, Austin, TX –  Alepo – a global provider of core network and IT software solutions for communications service providers – announced today that it has been awarded yet another contract by HTI to support the launch of advanced VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar. With Alepo, HTI will be able to readily launch innovative data offers for multiple services as well as ensure a rich end-to-end customer experience.

HTI’s objective is to provide an unmatched offering of data and voice services to their customers in Myanmar. To accomplish this goal, HTI will deploy a broad suite of Alepo products, including: Alepo’s carrier-class convergent charging, billing, AAA, CRM, VoIP mobile app, interconnect, and other modules. This suite will enable HTI to fully deliver and monetize its VoIP and FTTx service offerings. To create a sophisticated and enjoyable customer experience, Alepo will provide: end-to-end support for the entire purchase, activation, real-time charging, and real-time notifications for the next-generation services.

HTI’s decision to launch VoIP and FTTx services is driven by the immense potential of the telecommunications industry in Myanmar. Over the next five years, Myanmar’s telecom industry is expected to surge, largely through diversification of service portfolios with more granular voice and data bundles, and the launch of new services, like FTTx and IPTV.

“At HTI, we see a lot of potential in the telecommunications market in South East Asia and therefore plan to launch the next-gen services of VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar,” said Nyan Win, Vice-Chairman, and CEO at HTI Myanmar. “With Alepo as our technology partner, we want to gain a competitive edge and become the drivers of ICT growth in the region.”

Alepo’s VoIP and FTTx partnership with HTI marks Alepo’s fourth deployment in Myanmar, following the launch of WiFi services earlier this year with HTI, as well as deployments with other service providers.

“We are extremely proud to support HTI Myanmar in pioneering next-generation services across Myanmar”, said Vani Manian, Technical Director of Sales in APAC. She added, “With Alepo-enabled FTTx and, VoIP service, HTI Myanmar will gain a competitive advantage and a compelling business strategy for future growth.”
