Monday, October 17, 2016, Austin, TX, USA; – Alepo (www.alepo.com) – a global provider of core network and IT software solutions for communications service providers, announced today that Alepo’s longstanding partner Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has selected Alepo to modernize its BSS/OSS infrastructure with an upgrade to the latest version of Alepo’s BSS/OSS framework Service Enabler (SE) and AAA platform. The upgrade is driven by the need to meet the demands of STC’s growing business and subscriber base.
STC’s operations are highly automated, but the leadership at STC felt the need to be more flexible and stay up to date with market and technology transformation trends. The upgrade promises to provide a platform wherein STC can meet the expectations of its digital-savvy customers, launch new and compelling offers and monetize services in real-time without impacting customer experience. With Alepo, STC will be able to offer differentiated services to customers, with simplified operations and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO). With the deployment STC is expected to enhance its business performance through increased agility, operational efficiency, and time-to-market.
“We constantly look for ways to be more agile, offer a range of services across our network and to push the boundaries of innovation,” said Marzoq Alyami, Billing Section Manager at STC. “We are confident in Alepo’s ability to help STC streamline operations, reduce costs, and provide an overall better customer experience,” he added.
As part of the project Alepo will deliver its high-performance AAA server and policy framework, coupled with its award-winning OSS/BSS framework, Service Enabler. Alepo will also employ its rich library of modern APIs for seamless integration with the existing network. This upgrade will enable STC to achieve business efficiency and gain competitive edge in the market.
“We are extremely proud to be a part of STC’s journey since 2012,” said Vani Manian, Technical Director at Alepo. “We are committed to deliver an extremely agile environment to STC to launch new services and at the same time bridge the capability gaps to help them grow their business,” she added.
